sex work and shame
It all begins with an idea.
I think that sex work and shame are inextricable from each other, and its okay to admit that yes, sometimes engaging with the adult industry in any capacity can make you feel shame and guilt ..whether its through the lens of experience from being a sexworker yourself, or as a client who enjoys our services, societal stigma of perceived immorality, criminality and danger that has been attached to the sex trade can definently inspire you to question your decisions and the role you have played by engaging with something so taboo. Does working In the sex industry really leave an invisible mark of trauma or impurity that makes us some how tainted, undeserving of love or of a more traditional lifestyle in the future ? if we do pursue a normal life and succeed will it be derailed somehow by having our shady past exposed? Would we be deserving of that? The conflict of having to lie to everyone you love to keep your “dirty secret” under wraps, the stress of inventing a whole fake legitimate job to cover your tracks while navigating a secret job that requires a charisma, tact and level of street smarts that the average person couldn’t even imagine, let alone be capable of themselves doing or willing to acknowledge these things are skills to be possessed in the first place.

The would be clients of sexworkers who are ashamed to even consider purchasing the services of sexworkers, because only that’s for “losers” who are too ugly to get it for free, or sickos who dont care if they are victimizing an unwilling person to get their rocks off…. They are afraid to line the pockets of traffickers or the drug dealers who serve the broken, traumatized addicts who sell their bodies to support their habit it’s a burden your forced to bear in self inflicted isolation that feels almost deserved
Lets face it, no matter how modern and openminded about sex we as a society may seem on the surface level, we are still extremely puritanical at heart.

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.
Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.
